Tidbits of daily life

Just a few things I didn't want to forget, so I thought I'd better record them...somewhere. Arianna has really gotten into coloring pictures and writing "notes" to people. In particular she writes or colors for Daddy. So Marco has acquired a stack of memorables about as tall as the sweet little daughter that delivers them to him. EVERY day at some time or another she gets out her coloring book or a little scrap of paper and something to color or write with. She proudly announces that she is preparing a surprise for Daddy and hops up to the table to work. If Daddy happens to be home he can't see the picture until it is delivered to him (but I can). If, however, he is at work then no one is allowed to see the picture and she reminds me of that often. She is sweet and busy! Her coloring skills are rapidly improving too. Once in a while she will fold up the note, get a bag to gift it in and then find a box of his favorite cereal or candy and throw that in too. She is a pleaser! We lover her to pieces!
Oh, and she used to "fold" by crumpling up the picture or note, so that has given us an opportunity to learn about folding. Though either way is precious.

Enzo is the giggle puss lately. He thinks that everything is silly and cracks me up w/ his laughter. Any noise or face or surprise is just facsinating to him and evokes laughter. We are so enjoying our happy boy! He is one tidy kid too! He has followed his daddy's example of sweeping up after dinner. He gets out the sweeper, turns it on and makes his way around the kitchen. He usually does it numerous times during the day.Even if the batteries are out for charging, he goes through the motions. After tidying up for a few minutes he says, "all done" and returns the sweeper to the pantry. Ahhhh, if only that would continue indefinitely, huh?! We'll enjoy it while we can though, even if it means we have to buy another sweeper because this one has taken a fair beating.
