Marco and I had the opportunity to cheer on the cougs yesterday to their win against Air Force. We got rained on a bit, but that didn't put a damper on things any. We were reminded of Marco's grandpa several times when the Air Force band played the Air Force song. Love you Grandpa!! It brought tears to my eyes, and made me proud that I had the pleasure of knowing such a wonderful man! He's certainly missed here.
As for today, Arianna had her first primary program at church. We were really proud of her because she made it up to the stand. Phew! We'll get the rest taken care of next year:) She gets nervous in front of a crowd so we cheered her efforts on and hope that'll help her face another attempt. She WOULD have said that," I can follow Jesus by going to church and primary." She chose that herself and practiced it many times at home. She said she DID sing some songs, but she wouldn't stand so we couldn't see her mouth moving, therefore we'll take her word for it. We have heard her sing beautifully all of the songs here at home (and on the road) so we haven't missed out on that.
Enzo went back to nursery again today! He loves snack time most of all and I love seeing him sitting up to that mini table with his napkin asking for more water. Can't believe he is growing so fast. He likes to sing too. He sings EIEO, the Hello song and a few others, on key too! Kids are capable of amazing things! Grandma and Grandpa Poggio bought a fancy dump truck for him to play with when he visits them (since they only had girl toys up to this point) and Enzo took to it like crazy! He loved filling it up with apples, dumping it out and driving it around the house. He is all boy. He can't get enough of daddy's tools either. He raised a fit the other night when I had to take Marco's bionic wrench away from him so that he could go to bed. I am being introduced to a whole new world, and I quite like it!
Well, hope that all of you are well. We love you and hope to hear about what you are up to as well.
